WHAT IS GLIZZOLOGY?

Glizzology is the scientific study, preparation, classification, and appreciation of the hot dog.

For decades, the discipline was practiced exclusively inside the classified facilities of the Hot Dog Research Institute of America.

There, human researchers and extraterrestrial Glizzologists studied every known element of hot dog science—from specimen construction and bun compatibility to condiment distribution, regional preparation methods, and advanced flavor experimentation.

Today, Glizzology is no longer restricted to government laboratories.

It is a growing worldwide community of researchers, cooks, collectors, travelers, and hot dog enthusiasts united by one shared mission:

To explore the hot dog in all its forms and continue the pursuit of the perfect specimen.

Anyone may study Glizzology.

Those who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the field may earn recognition as an Official Glizzologist.
