Welcome to Glizzology. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of glizzology.com (the “Website”), operated by Glizzology (“Glizzology,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. Website Purpose

The Website allows visitors to learn about Glizzology, browse and purchase merchandise, submit customer photos, and communicate with us.

Access to the Website does not guarantee that any particular product will remain available. All orders are subject to acceptance, product availability, payment authorization, shipping limitations, and applicable law.

2. Orders and Payments

By placing an order, you represent that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method.

  • You are legally permitted to complete the purchase.

  • You agree to pay the product price, shipping charges, taxes, and any other charges disclosed before checkout.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We do not directly store your complete payment-card information.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including when:

  • A product is unavailable.

  • Pricing or product information contains an error.

  • Payment cannot be authorized.

  • An order appears fraudulent or abusive.

  • We cannot ship to the provided address.

  • The order violates these Terms or applicable law.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, colors, sizes, images, and pricing accurately.

However, colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen, device, printing process, or normal manufacturing variation. Minor differences that do not materially affect the product are not considered defects.

Prices and product availability may change without notice. Changes will not affect orders already accepted, except where a clear pricing or listing error has occurred.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping estimates are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delivery times may be affected by production times, order volume, carrier delays, weather, address errors, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Glizzology is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

If an order is delayed beyond the promised or legally required shipping period, we will provide any notice, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Replacements

Orders may enter production shortly after they are submitted. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after it has been placed.

Returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Replacement Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Glizzology generally accepts claims for merchandise that arrives damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered. We do not accept returns or exchanges based solely on incorrect size selection, fit preference, change of mind, or an item no longer being wanted.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

  • Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, accounts, servers, or systems.

  • Interfere with the Website’s security or operation.

  • Introduce malware, harmful code, automated scraping tools, or disruptive technology.

  • Impersonate another person or business.

  • Use the Website to harass, threaten, defraud, or harm another person.

  • Present Glizzology content as your own.

No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the Website or purchase of merchandise.

8. Customer Photos and Submitted Content

Visitors may submit photographs, captions, field reports, testimonials, or other content for possible display on the Website, in the field reports, or through Glizzology social-media accounts.

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content for publication, you grant Glizzology a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, crop, resize, format, and share that content for Glizzology promotional, archival, website, and social-media purposes.

By submitting content, you represent that:

  • You own the submitted content or have permission to submit it.

  • The content does not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

  • Everyone identifiable in the content has consented to its submission and use.

  • The content does not feature a child under 13.

  • The content is not unlawful, misleading, obscene, threatening, or harmful.

Glizzology may choose whether to publish or remove submitted content. You may request removal by emailing hq@glizzology.com although removal from materials already printed, distributed, or reposted by others may not always be possible.

9. Reviews and Feedback

You may submit reviews, comments, suggestions, or other feedback about Glizzology.

You remain free to provide an honest review of your experience. Nothing in these Terms is intended to prohibit or penalize truthful consumer reviews.

We may remove content that is fraudulent, unlawful, threatening, harassing, unrelated to the product, contains private information, or infringes another person’s rights.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment processors, fulfillment providers, shipping carriers, analytics services, social-media platforms, and external websites.

We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and policies.

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • The Website will meet every individual user’s expectations.

Nothing on the Website constitutes professional, medical, legal, nutritional, or scientific advice.

References to extraterrestrial research, classified institutes, hot dog science, Area 51½, or Glizzology history are fictional brand storytelling and entertainment.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glizzology and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your access to or use of the Website.

  • Your inability to access or use the Website.

  • Reliance on Website content.

  • Website errors, delays, interruptions, or security incidents.

  • Third-party services or links.

  • Unauthorized access to information, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Our total liability relating to a product order will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim, except where a different remedy is required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glizzology, and its owners, employees and contractors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Website.

  • Your material violation of these Terms.

  • Content you submit.

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights.

  • Fraudulent or harmful activity conducted through your account or information.

This section does not apply to claims caused solely by Glizzology’s own unlawful conduct.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal proceeding arising from these Terms or the Website shall be brought in a state or federal court with proper jurisdiction in Erie County, New York, unless applicable law gives the consumer the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

15. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

16. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Replacement Policy, constitute the agreement between you and Glizzology concerning use of the Website and purchases made through it.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
